How to Boost Your Energy to Skyrocket Your Productivity

What have children and successful people have in common?

They avoid doing things that drain their energy and prefer doing what they are good at.

To be productive, successful, and happy, you need to figure out what your energy leaks are. 

Ok, now that you know what drains your energy, let’s focus on how to boost your energy so that you skyrocket your productivity.

Ask yourself every morning this.

 

“How do I feel today?” Tired. Rested. Mentally sharp. Foggy mind. Exited. Motivated. High energy. Low energy. I want to be in bed all day.

“Where my energy level is at?” Low, exhausted, high, very high. Every answer is correct. It’s your inner ENERGY BAROMETER, which can change during the day. So trust the first answer that comes.

Now you know how much your cup is filled

If your energy barometer is low or medium, you need to ask for help and recharge.

It’s vital that you don’t deplete your energy barometer to the point where it shows red.

But this is not enough.

In order to keep your energy consistently as high as possible, you need to recharge your batteries every day. When you take care of yourself, your life tremendously changes for the better. Believe me; you will feel incredible.

Boost your energy to skyrocket your productivity

 

What are energy boosters? Things that energise you.

So, what do you like to do? What makes time stop for you because you enjoy the activity so much?

In day to day busy life, we quickly forget about ourselves. Therefore, we need reminders.

Make a list of 5 energy boosters that make you feel FIRED UP & INSPIRED!

Here are some examples I do to get fired up and inspired. You can borrow them if you like.

  • Reading personal growth books
  • Travelling
  • Hiking
  • Bootcamp workout
  • Going for a walk at sunrise (or any time in a day)
  • Listening to inspiring and motivational videos
  • Having a quiet coffee on the beach looking at the ocean
  • A good night sleep – nothing can beat it
  • Visualisation
  • Presence meditation by Leonard Jacobson

 

Do one thing from this list every day so that you recharge your battery.

We all need to take care of ourselves if we want to show up as the best version. But unfortunately, many women struggle with this.

But here’s the trick:

You can’t be productive if you are tired, feeling down, unmotivated or overwhelmed. So the first step to boost your productivity is FEELING INSPIRED.

Self-care is extremely powerful and necessary for living an extraordinary life. And you can have a wonderful life. We all can.

You also need to know how to tap into inner calmness instantly.

Find a safe harbour during stress.

 

It’s essential to be mindful.

Mindfulness is awareness of present moment experience without being lost in judgements of good or bad.

Mindfulness and self-compassion are resources we need to find safety and a break from stress.

It helps you go out of your head and tune into your body.

When you do that, you will experience PEACE OF MIND and GRATITUDE.

When I immerse myself in the present moment, I realise that there is nothing I need, nothing I have to do, no ticking boxes, no success and no failure. Instead, I experience only inner peace and the admiration of nature and life.

When you learn how to immerse yourself into the present moment for a few moments, you have a safe harbour that you can always go to when you need to rejuvenate yourself. 

 

So when you eliminate or reduce the energy leaks and do the things you love and enjoy, you will SKYROCKET YOUR PRODUCTIVITY because you feel good about yourself.

When you strengthen the self-care muscle, you will have a ton of energy. You will feel like you are at the top of the world.
