How to Reduce Chronic Stress and Increase Joy

We cannot thrive in the atmosphere of stress. Our lives became so busy that we were pushed to the overwhelm breaking point.

So, what causes stress in our daily life? First, we work eight hours a day or more. Then, we make sure that groceries, cooking and cleaning are done, make sure that we earn enough money, our children have everything they need, taxes are done, and bills are paid. Next, we manage monthly subscriptions, and now we need to remember user names and passwords to every account.

Then, of course, we need to make sure that our pets are cared for, car maintenance and registration done, car, life, and home, business insurances are up to date. Then we do our best to navigate through the flood of emails, podcasts, YouTube videos, offers, movies and social media posts. On top of that, we try very hard to keep our family, friends, parents, boss happy, and of course, people at our book club and volunteering organisation. Have I mentioned regular exercise and meditation?

You are too depleted to focus on what’s truly important to you and how you want to live your life.
