The No-B.S. Guide to Mind Detox

Do you overthink things, doubt yourself, criticise yourself, procrastinate or feel stuck?

What is your response? Are you too scared to do anything or don’t know what to do next?

Do you binge-watch Suits on Netflix and endlessly browse Instagram? And that makes you feel lost, confused, frustrated, unproductive and helpless.

For most of us, the biggest battle we face is within ourselves.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned in my life is that mindset is everything. When I feel lost, confused and unmotivated, I tend to beat myself up for not being productive.

At that point, none of the goal-setting tools will help you get focused and productive because you question your ability. You’re worried about what others might think of you, and the most common thought you have is, “What if I fail?”

Well, there’s another way. You are brave enough to conquer your fears and inner critic and come out on the other side happy, powerful and joyful. But, if you listen to your fears and inner critic’s voice, you will feel stuck, confused, scared and unhappy.

1. The Surprisingly Simple Truth Behind Your Thoughts

In his book You Are the Placebo, Dr Joe Dispenza says that we have around 60,000 thoughts a day, and 90% of them are negative. 80% of thoughts we think are the same as the previous day.

Why is that?

Thousands of years ago, our brain was wired for survival. So the more we predicted where the next lion was coming from, the higher the chance of survival.

Your brain is wired to look for what can go wrong, who can attack you, how can you armour yourself, how to make people happy so that they won’t leave you.

The programs that run in your mind determine the quality of your life. These programs are your everyday thoughts.

Do you know the quality of your thoughts?

I can guarantee you that whenever I run the wrong program in my mind, I get stuck and unproductive.

And whenever I’ve felt on top of everything, successful, productive, positive and motivated was because I’ve been running the right program in my mind.

Living an extraordinary life, being on top of things and feeling successful is not reserved only for a chosen few.

We all can live extraordinary lives. We all can tap into the power of our minds.

2. Change your thoughts, change your life.

Many years ago, I wasn’t happy with my work or life. While working full time as a nurse, I was a part-time student at a university. Then, in the last year of my study, I got divorced. My life was a mess.

I started doubting myself. I felt confused, lost, frustrated and very afraid. I’ve become so negative that even my friends couldn’t listen to me anymore.

Then, I started to learn about the power of our minds and visualisation. Finally, I applied all tools that I learned to my life.

That was a game-changer for me.

That helped to achieve my biggest dreams, like buying a fantastic new apartment, leaving my job as a nurse and getting a job as a statistician and frequently travelling around Europe for work. Every year I go overseas for vacation. Most importantly, I met the most awesome guy in the world.

People told me, “You are lucky. But, unfortunately, we are not so lucky as you are.”

Listen, luck has nothing to do with it. Success doesn’t happen by accident. It happens on purpose.

So, I want to share with you the process I’ve used that have helped to achieve my biggest dreams.

3. How to Tap into the Mind Power

First, you have to create a daily routine for yourself. Tapping into your mind power must become your habit.

Here’s my SUCCESS STRATEGY.

When I feel frustrated, hostile, lost, fearful, I notice my thoughts. But, then, I stop and take a deep breath.

Then I ask myself: “What am I thinking right now that makes me feel so frustrated?”

Usually, I put everything out on paper. I love journaling because it helps me see my thoughts clearly. I can genuinely see what’s going on I’m my mind.

Lack of clarity causes confusion and resistance.

The more resistance you have, the more you feel out of the flow and confused. The more you are confused, the less you know what to do next.

Fortunately, it’s easy to fix.
